NetWork Kansas E-Community Loans
Gap financing designed to help viable projects cross the finish line.
Loan basics
E-Community loans are intended as gap financing—not the primary source of capital. Projects typically require a match from a qualified public source or financial institution.
- Maximum loan amount: up to $50,000
- Eligibility: businesses located in Leavenworth County, Kansas
- Designed to complement bank or partner financing
What to prepare
To move efficiently, be ready with:

- Evidence of match funding or lender interest

Youth Entrepreneurship
Helping students build real business skills through real competition.
Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC)
A structured competition for students (grades 7–12) to develop business ideas, prepare executive summaries, and present to judges for awards and advancement opportunities.
School coordination
GLC coordinates registration support and pre-event planning so students and schools can focus on quality submissions and presentations.
Sponsorship impact
Sponsorships directly support programs, printing, and prize awards. Sponsors receive recognition in materials and on event signage.
Partners & Community Alignment
GLC works alongside city, county, and regional partners to expand access to resources and capital.
Examples of collaboration: City tourism outreach for business training promotion, Chamber and Main Street amplification, and NetWork Kansas program support for specialized training and lending administration.
